These tools and others aid students in How To types of learning that provide them with a tutor for a rpocess that can always have access too. This could be used with many different subjects but math really comes to mind especially on the days you introduce a new concept then have students do practice exercises at home with their screen cast How To video. This meets mulitple ISTE NETS standards.

....ahhh, not just "blogging" and "research papers". Technology has come a LONG way since the irresponsible "computer time" R+ of the late eighties and nineties. Today as an educator, not only are you mandated to instruct students in tools of the 21st century, but almost all of your day to day 'behind the scenes' work is done via technology. One of the largest impacts on the classroom has been the shift in instruction delivery. General or Special Ed, everyone's in the same soup today. If you aren't on the technology bus, then it will drag you behind. Today's educational students need to embrace the wealth of avenues that software and hardware bring to this new era.
